Evolution.

It was inevitable. It was prophesied to happen. I couldn't run away from it how much ever I denied it. I have evolved. The final step of evolution is complete. I am complete. From an unskilled, stone carving, raw-meat eating beast, I have evolved, nay, transformed into an exemplary organism, one who has mastered the use of fire to his advantage, (read partially succeeded in cooking his breakfast). Beware wild animals, there's a skilled caveman in town.

I have a tall ladder to climb before I am crowned as Lord of the Kitchen flame. But I'll get there. A perfectly edible unsalted egg omelet is the first step. Using the flame to make food is what humans were born to do. However insignificant the action may seem to be, it is the ability of man to control flames in most cases that makes him such a dangerous predator. And I take pride in that ability of man.

Being home alone is not much fun at all, contrary to what movies have depicted. I am now burdened with responsibilities. I have to multitask efficiently - switching between the use of the internet which takes up 90% of my time and keeping an eye on the food which is being reheated which is among various other tasks I am expected to complete before I leave home for school. Some of these tasks, even I hadn't fathomed.

You know what sucks? Going to school.
You know what worse than that? Knowing that Daedalus will be signing a letter saying that he witnessed the world record being broken while I am breaking my head in school.

"If you love me
Won't you let me know?"

It's About What You Eat and other things.

It is Onam today.  To me, its not about harvesting crops and things concerned with the Harvest, but about my friends from the South, from God's Own Country (How?) wearing a fancy, white cloth instead of jeans, eating off banana leaves and giving me banana chips.

My mom decided to get into the Onam festival mood by making Onam related food (damn, I'm rhyming it like a boss) which tasted like normal Gujju food with an infusion of coconut milk and brown banana (How? Stale? Damn). Is the coconut and the raw banana separating the food of North and the South, and thus their respective cultures? Hmm... I wonder.

Food is a wonderful way to "learn" about and feel other cultures. It helps us experience what the respective cultures have endured over generations and thus food acts as a link to connect a community to the outside world.
Eating the Aviyal, (The almost Gujju food ^) I felt so Keralitey. I was connected to the South.
Similarly, eating an exotic pizza, with the dripping cheese and wonderful sauce induces an Italian in me. A burger makes me a lazy American Fat Man.

I need an Apple product. The only apple I have sits in the Fruits and Vegetables Basket inside the fridge.

Start of school approaching fast, so is the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I wasted the holidays as always. 2 months are not enough to burn the stress accumulated in about 10 months of school.

Tribute in Lights.

I Can't Think Of A Title.......

I recently awoke from my week long slumber.
Boy did it feel good. It felt as if just for one tiny fraction of my life, I felt truly at peace and truly at ease, much reflecting Akshith's feelings in the post below.
Why did I take such a long break anyway?
The answer is, I wanted to get away from my laptop in general as I was suffering from a digital burnout.
Didn't work out that well, but I refrained from posting here.
Now that I am here, I don't have much to say.

Should I talk about the Full HD Lord Of The Rings Trilogy I finished downloading or should I talk about my latest obsession, i.e The Hunger Games series of books (Check it out on Wiki, ain't gonna link it for you lazy /b/ tards.

Let's say I talk about books. Do YOU read books?
Yes? That's very good, you should. Any Favorites?
No? Fuck off. That is all.

Great, now I've exhausted one topic I wanted to talk about without actually saying much.
Now what?
Should I talk about the debacle of the Indian Government that ensued because they arrested the *only* man fighting against corruption?
Because that, my friends was an epic fail on the hands of the Indian Government.
I mean seriously, don't they have people sitting around tables discussing whether a particular action would have consequences? Sheesh.

Hmmm.....Sheesh.
Reminds me of the Sheesh Kebob I'm gonna have for Iftar today, after which I'll be eating 4 shawermas.
Yes people, gluttony FTW.

In other headlines,  I started studying.
Just a bit from here and there, just so I don't feel guilty after school starts.
It's hard, I mean who wants to spend their holidays studying?
But I guess, to get into a college with hot chicks, you need to get a grade and then get laid.
See what I did there? Damn, I'm a rhyming pervert.

Enough of this random rant.
See ya later homies.
