Gone Fishing.

This wouldn't come as a shock to you but this will be my last post for a loooong time (extra Os added for emphasis).

Board exams are only 10 sunrises away. I need to ligate myself to a vector with suitable amount of Concentration Ligase and insert the vector to my books. Don't think that even makes sense.
I just had an urge to type vector and ligase.

I keep holding onto youBut I can't bring you back to lifeSing the anthem of the angelsAnd say the last goodbye
May the Force be with us all.

The Awkward Moment When...

Yesterday, I was awarded for spending most of Gr 12 with books. Being a "Supremo" makes me sound like a large pizza from pizza hut.
During the ceremony, shit happened.
My thoughts varied from wait, what? to WHAT THE FAAACK? to omg, what is happening?, to who? me? and finally to oh, this is gonna be fun.
The awkward moment when I stand next to the CEO of my school with his arm over me for the entire audience to laugh at.
This is what I thought the moment looked like -
image

After the ceremony, in which people apparently forgot how to clap, or had I gone deaf? Never mind, I'll find someone like you.
OKAY. So after the prize distribution ceremony, I almost had a cardiac arrest at one point of time. A nice feeling though. Beautiful is the word. Why did my heart almost stop beating? You may never know.................. (notice extra full stops and imagine a person looking out a misty window on a misty, winter's night and the screen fades)

Did I enjoy the moment when I was next to the CEO? Yes.
Would I like another "beautiful cardiac arrest" moment? Yes.
Did I like the food? No.

Nobody said it was easy...

The last theory exam is over. High School Graduation Day is approaching fast. So are more exams. More on that later.

Surprisingly, there is nothing for me to do, which is probably why I'm here. (Read : There are loads of things I could be doing right now, but instead I'm not)
I have put on weight because of these exams. Exam weight. Its just like putting on holiday weight, but I have fun putting on holiday weight. On the other hand, I feel like a complete arsehole putting on exam weight. Hvae to burn the extra cals. Till then -
Chris can do no wrong.

I don't even need your love, but you treat me like a stranger...

You're in the Biology class, physically while your mind wanders off to wonderland. You look out of the window with those dreamy eyes and wonder why birds fly, then you wonder how birds fly, then you no longer give a f*ck about birds. Suddenly a good looking girl falls into your class. Just falls in. You don't care why or how. She steadies herself, makes up her hair and shows off her curves. You ask her out at that very instance, no longer caring about the consequences of leaving a class right when the interesting topic of why birds fly is being discussed. You don't care. You like watching classmates with their mouths wide open in shock. One classmate was just yawning, you give him the look and he keeps his mouth wide open in shock and disbelief. The next thing you know, you're half way around the world making sweet love to your new girlfriend. Then suddenly you here a scream, your hips stop. Fear creeps in. You're shaken and you wake up. The sunlight stares right into your pupils, blinding you. You here voices, a woman shouting your name, you feel like you're slipping back to love making, instead you're struck right between your eyes by what you see as a missile. You're back in class. You try to slip back into the dream. The girl never returns. You hope she does when you sleep during the next class. You do sleep, she isn't there. You cut your hand. You didn't even know her name. She's just somebody you used to know.

I wish I was the sun.
I wouldn't let you live.

Ben 10 is illogical. I still watch it though. Pokemon rules!!!!!!

My last theory exam in school is coming up. What have I been doing all this while? Thinking about why birds fly and creating fantasy worlds during class? Pathetic.

Salon Visits Are Synced.

Exams occurring periodically after a gap of 3 months are a blessing in disguise. They help me plan my visits to the Barber shop. Not, the candy shop, mind you.
Timing the visit is of utmost importance and I plan meticulously for it, taking into account the duration my hair takes to grow back to its full glory, the period between exams when the length of my locks cannot be questioned, etc.,. I'll pay my barber a visit tomorrow. After that, only the Almighty knows when I'll be going back there again.

I am being eaten alive by my books, at least it is better than having my face burnt by acid and having a play written on it.

Life Goes On.

6 days into the 2012.. How is it going for you? Save it, I really don't care.
Not a lot has changed. Still got exams. Exams are just around the corner. Again. They are always around the corner no matter what. Maybe I'm on the circumference of a circle.. Or I'm moving in an elliptical orbit.. Or maybe I'm just not making sense.

I'm staring my brightly lit desktop monitor for the first time since the previous post. Oh, how time flies.

Exams give rise to high level of inquisitiveness. There are about one million five hundred thousand three hundred and thirty nine questions floating around in my cranium, none of which have got anything to chemical kinetics or wave theory of matter or Bohr's quantum condition. What the questions are related to are phenomena beyond the control of mortals. (Under my control though. More on that later). These questions have enveloped me. They are escaping my thick cranium via pores due to the concentration gradient between in the insides of my skull and the outside environment. I am, now, enveloped by these questions. Most of them are What If question because I find it really amusing to ask myself What If questions and finding an answer to them in ways unfathomable to mortals. As I was saying, these questions have caused a mist around me, blocking the rays of stupidity that are emerging from the a major of the environment and selectively permitting the rays of the brilliance to enter and with a mechanism, again unknown to the mortals, amplifying them so that they reach me with maximum epicness. Some of these questions are, "What if the chicken never crossed the road?", "What if Superman and Batman wore their underwear under their costumes?", "What if I had not chosen the science stream?", "What if there are other planets that are looking for life on other planets? What if they find us before we find them?", "What if the world actually ends this year?", "What if Rebecca finds a seat?", "What if India gets white-washed down under?", :What if India wins the next two matches?", "What if I'm actually not yet completely over her?", "What if she likes me?", etc.,. The list has been complete, you just can't see it. You may see it as "etc.,.", it's the mist.
But the most important question so far would be - "If I go crazy, will you still call me Superman?"

GTA 3 beckons. Ciao.

School Is Ending.

It's almost the end of my school life. 15 years I have spent with the title of a school go-er. Good 15 years, I must say.

School ending is making people do wacky things, with the excuse of it being the "last time ever". The excuse is fool proof. Want to take a photo with the teacher you've had a crush on? Go ahead, last time ever. That, by the way, doesn't happen in my school. We're allowed to wear formals to school for a day. Guess why? Last day of school. Yay.

I was manager of my class' football team. Bunch of jerks. Caused me to have an early retirement. It was good experience being manager of 13 budding football stars, who need better tactics on the field, who know more about football than me. Bunch of jerks, I play better than them.

Dexter season finale will be watched by me today. I'm fully prepared. Bought plastic wrap, tranquilizer ready, knives ready. Dexter has taken over my brain. I stole glass slides from the biology lab. Tonight is the night.

My biology teacher thinks we (my class) can't get girls. Time to prove her wrong.

Vacant Pit.

Revolution 2020 has re-ignited the familiar feeling of being lonely and gloomy and has caused me to stare out of my window at the dark, cloudy sky frequently. The weather isn't helping either. Revolution 2020 was, in some places, my thoughts about life in words. I could easily put myself in Gopal's place. Although, he turned out to be a boss later on. I need to clear my head. School isn't helping. Travelling 200 km to prove myself worthy of the English language won't help either. A few murders will help though.

We’re like fire and gasoline.I’m no good for you. You’re no good for me.We only bring each other tears and sorrow
That ^, unfortunately, is total internally reflecting in my cranium.

School this week has been a disaster. I wish I could just run away to a better, more forgiving and hospitable place like Kepler-22b. Everyday I think, "Today will be different". It has never worked. Am I being a pessimist and ignoring the times when the day was actually different? Maybe. Negligible though.

New Term Resolutions.

So the results are out. No comments. With the results, also are out the new resolutions for the next term. "The 3rd term will be different" "Mission 3rd Term - Pass" "3rd term just like the 1st and 2nd, top and laugh"
"Keep talking, bitches^"
For some the new term resolutions will be like New Year Resolutions, which survive for the first week only and then it's back to the previous term routine. While others receive eye-opening marks and they step into the new term with an aim to make a difference. Such people are like unicorns, rare and priceless.

I hate doing stupid things.

Meth Or Math?

I don't do drugs. So meth is out of the question. But is it? Are math and meth two completely different drugs? Is math even a drug? I think it is. Do math a long time and you get a kick in the brain. And Bam! You're stoned during the exam. God was kind today, I survived the math, not meth, exam without my sweat and adrenal gland going into chaos.
Does meth cause the same effect? Does it? Does what?

Okay, so 3 exams done. 2 more to go. Wheeee.

It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
The week that has passed has been intense. I haven't stepped out of my house for my pleasure trips. Been out there in the wild only to reach math tuition. It has been me. My sofa. My bathroom (studying cause my bladder to switch gears to over drive). I was under self imposed house arrest with the pleasure of watching Darren Bravo bat and Ron Swanson not care about anything helping me stay on the sane side of the line that divides me from you.

This trend will go on till next Wednesday. Although, Darren won't appear on my T.V till Tuesday. Will that be too late? Will I have crossed the line by then? Will  be on the Arkham Asylum side by then? We'll just have to wait and watch. OHMYGOD. LAST KBC EPISODE TODAY! OHMYGOD NO MORE COMMUNITY! It insanity has begun.....

The Way I Roll.

Exams. Funny word. Can sound like X Mas. Fat red suit man, with white beard. Not Dumbledore. Santa.
I will say stupid things. Like that ^. And keep on saying stupid things, cuz that's the way I roll.

I won't say much. I don't usually. I do sometimes. But then people want me to shut up. I still do talk though.

I like chocolates. They make me happy. I have a box of Patchi chocolates lying in my fridge. I also get hungry during the exam days. Which means only one thing... I eat a lot. I am also gaining weight. I'll reduce that later. But chocolates can't wait to be eaten. I need my daily chocolate intake. I'll die otherwise. Wallah. <-- Khalas.

I also stare at the mirror a lot. My reflection looks good. It looks better than me. Yea, like that's ever going to happen. I want to sit in one place for a day forever. I'm so lazy. Sheldon Cooper is so awesome. I also take pictures of myself with different hair styles. I like to experiment. Why am I telling you all this? Because that's the way I roll. LOL, JK I just fried my neurons, while studying. I was asleep when it happened. I'm a child of the day. I'm completely useless in the academic field after 11 45 pm. I'm good for other things though.

I have lots to complete. I have to eat.

I Am Not Supposed to Be Here. Ssshh...

It is exam time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is time to be distracted by the pigeon that visits your balcony, by the weird pattern your facial hair grows in, by your reflection, etc.,.
It is time to make frequent visits to the Photocopy shop.
It is time to spend more time in places where you are not supposed to be, (here).
It is time to spend time on the phone, pretending to discuss question 2 in exercise 8.2.
It is time for the gossip to spread.
Its time to take over control. It is time to wish she was yours.
Its time to lose control, not shave, look stoned, talk in a low voice, behave like Batman, and last but not the least, study.
Study. I will be doing that in a while, AFTER I win the battle against the green pigs, and top score on Dragon, Fly.

Chemical X

I have nothing to do in life. I am off to save the world.
I just thought of the Powerpuff Girls today. I used to watch the them save the world almost everyday 5-6 years ago. I miss watching them. They must be all grow up, kicking ass bigger than Mojo Jojo's. I liked that monkey.

I feel completely stupid now. I haven't posted for 5 days now. I thought only 2 days had passed since Party posters when I was informed yesterday by a young child who reads this blog that 4 days had passed since Party Posters.

Daedalus has disappeared. Diwali is over. Gaddhafi is dead. RA.One is getting mixed reviews. I still want to watch RA.One even though a tiny, insignificant part of me tells me that I am going to regret spending my money on the movie. But, I will take the risk. That is what life is all about isn't it?

The world is silent. My physics book open. My physics book is evil. I am going. Bye.

30/09/2011

I looked like him.
The post title should say it all. I am extremely thoughtless, sparkless, idea-less. I have done nothing productive today. All I did was read about the fun kids had at Dandiya, browse through their pictures, stalk the good looking ones, feel unhappy about the fun I missed, sit in the corner of my house and sulk, and sit with a 2 kilo book to choose one out of five possible answers.

I do not like the College Board, they are making student life harder. Who gave them the idea of a freakin' four hour test to figure out the students Math and English skill?! Must be their mom. Tomorrow is THE future-of-Akshith's-life test.
Tomorrow, I have to prove I'm college material.
Tomorrow I have to not sleep during the SAT.
Today, I have to prepare for tomorrow.
Today, I have to wake Green Day up.

Mustache.

"With great mustache comes great responsibility"
- Family Guy.

In India, usually in the South, mustaches are signs of manlyness. Having that patch of facial hair under your nose makes you a boss. People with a great, flowing, voluminous, silky, well trimmed mustache gain default respect, women get turned on, women start sporting mustaches. Wait. What?

"Never point a loaded mustache at a woman you don't intend to thrill"
- Sean Chandler

I beg to differ. I think mustaches are lame. At first, I was ridiculed in school for shaving my mustache off.
But I stood strong. I bleh-ed those people on their face. I felt like a rebel then. I didn't like the hair under my nose, it didn't look good in photos.

But today, I feel different. Today, I think I'll not shave my mustache off.Today, I think I'll feel like a South Indian boss.

Give me a life.

Say What ?!

Look who's back, back again.
Foodie's back tell a friend ;)

Today I watched Sherlock Holmes. Again. Every time I watch that movie, I giggle like a tween girl listening to Justin Beiber. No need to worry, I think.
Other news, I still haven't gotten my Pottermore invite. I feel like how Snape must have felt when James married Lily. Don't have a word for it, right now.

I also saw how Rajnikanth looks like without makeup and the works. He reminded me of the guy working in the supermarket near my house. I wonder if he'll give me free things if I tell him.

Food for thought, apparently Hummus cheers you up. So if you're depressed, instead of grabbing that tub of ice-cream. Eat some Hummus with you thumbus!

Some writer once said never use an exclamation mark in your work, it's like laughing at your own joke. I laugh at my own jokes ! B)

The heat seems to be dying out. I feel happy, I wasn't fried this summer.

School starts on 9/11. Another unavoidable tragedy. *sigh*
Some random cool facts about 9/11 :
20 people were pulled out alive from the rubble.
Fires raged on at Ground Zero for 99 days.
The plane engines survived the crash.

People in Iran were arrested for taking part in a water fight. Lol.

Signing out with a song about Hummus <3

I Can't Think Of A Title.......

I recently awoke from my week long slumber.
Boy did it feel good. It felt as if just for one tiny fraction of my life, I felt truly at peace and truly at ease, much reflecting Akshith's feelings in the post below.
Why did I take such a long break anyway?
The answer is, I wanted to get away from my laptop in general as I was suffering from a digital burnout.
Didn't work out that well, but I refrained from posting here.
Now that I am here, I don't have much to say.

Should I talk about the Full HD Lord Of The Rings Trilogy I finished downloading or should I talk about my latest obsession, i.e The Hunger Games series of books (Check it out on Wiki, ain't gonna link it for you lazy /b/ tards.

Let's say I talk about books. Do YOU read books?
Yes? That's very good, you should. Any Favorites?
No? Fuck off. That is all.

Great, now I've exhausted one topic I wanted to talk about without actually saying much.
Now what?
Should I talk about the debacle of the Indian Government that ensued because they arrested the *only* man fighting against corruption?
Because that, my friends was an epic fail on the hands of the Indian Government.
I mean seriously, don't they have people sitting around tables discussing whether a particular action would have consequences? Sheesh.

Hmmm.....Sheesh.
Reminds me of the Sheesh Kebob I'm gonna have for Iftar today, after which I'll be eating 4 shawermas.
Yes people, gluttony FTW.

In other headlines,  I started studying.
Just a bit from here and there, just so I don't feel guilty after school starts.
It's hard, I mean who wants to spend their holidays studying?
But I guess, to get into a college with hot chicks, you need to get a grade and then get laid.
See what I did there? Damn, I'm a rhyming pervert.

Enough of this random rant.
See ya later homies.
