Sailing. Running. Rocking.

There is just something divine that oozes out from the sea, or whatever one calls the water body I went sailing in the day before yesterday, that has a calming effect on the body. The aesthetic quality of the sea has this ability to absorb the residue exam stress and demolish it. Real good fun. And thank god for "I'm On A Boat" by The Lonely Island.

Temple Run is like life. At some moments, it is life.
There are monkeys or dementor like thingys behind you. You trip and they magically catch up, just like failure and fear. A single wrong move, and failure is right there to greet you with open arms like an old acquaintance, but we keep on running and manage to shake the monkeys off our back.
Sometimes life rewards you with power-ups to make the going easy. We thank the Lord and move on with greater concentration since the Force is with us, and eventually accomplish what we have set out to achieve with great ease.
There will always be obstacles in our path. Life ain't no exponential growth curve. That is what makes life all the more worthwhile. Without challenges and objectives, are we truly living? We don't even know where we're heading to in Temple Run, even the game producers don't know, they're mere mortals like most of us. It's left to the program to decide where to take us, giving us choices of the path to take on the way, just like what we experience in life. We are bound to fail at some point of time, the running may get too fast, or we may be distracted by external/internal factors and fall down.. But then there is always the Run Again option and we get back wiser and with wounds that chicks dig.

Yes, the gloomy asshole is back.

JUST IN! FAKING NEWS.

Caretakers of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum, India, where gold, jewels and statues worth an estimated $22 billion have been found, have decided to lodge a complaint Imangi Studios, producers of the popular game Temple Run for giving ideas to the people visiting the temple on how to steal the jewels and run. The authorities have had to spend some of the gold to hire mastiffs to chase the the robbers.

"This is very unfortunate, we condemn such games that spoil the mind of the young children and make them experts at avoiding evil monkeys. We have decided to hire wild dogs, since dogs aren't monkeys. The robbers won't get very far" says the head caretaker, while sipping on the tender coconut water. Hearing the comments of the head caretaker, many visitors were heard shouting "Challenge Accepted".

More and more people have started buying track pants and shorts to ensure an easy run, the lungi shops have started to shut down. "Lungis are very uncomfortable and they tend to fall off after a while, spoiling the fun" says an avid Temple Run supporter. The next few days are bound to be eventful. As the roads are getting cleaned up, and pot holes being covered for a smooth run, it will be interesting to see what new defenses the temple authorities set up.

Sometimes I cease being a rock and try being a mortal. Bad idea.

My day revolves around the electronic gadgets lying around my house. From the gravitation field of one, I am miraculously placed in the field of another. Fun time.

  1. Are you trying to poke fun at the temples of India just so your meaningless blogs can score a few hits?! That's a new low for even you, Mr. Dass.

    1. I don't need to poke fun at temples for hits. I would have to publicize my posts for that. You clearly have no idea about how a blog scores hits. If the post has hurt your feelings in anyway, I apologize.
