Gone Fishing.

This wouldn't come as a shock to you but this will be my last post for a loooong time (extra Os added for emphasis).

Board exams are only 10 sunrises away. I need to ligate myself to a vector with suitable amount of Concentration Ligase and insert the vector to my books. Don't think that even makes sense.
I just had an urge to type vector and ligase.

I keep holding onto youBut I can't bring you back to lifeSing the anthem of the angelsAnd say the last goodbye
May the Force be with us all.

Post Graduation.

Graduating feels good. I love the attention. I love the robes. I love looking like a semi-wizard. I hate the hats, they don't fit my head. I like the speeches. I like the post graduation status updates. I like the photos. I like the "I'll miss you", I kinda even like the tear shedding part, even though my tear glands refused to function yesterday. I think I'm turning into a rock, slowly, but surely.
Even though the chief guest's speech had explicit content, it was really good. Good thoughts he has. With him is the force.
The feeling after the tassels were turned is just phenomenal. All the work put in, in surviving school right from nursery to Gr 12 was worth it. A part of me wanted to shout out "I'M A GRADUATE, BITCH", but most of me said, "wait you asshole, boards exams in about 15 days".
Graduating high school is just part 1 of accomplishing life's academic goal. Lots of graduating left to do.

Near death experiences are fun only after they are survived.

Of Hearts and Stuff.

File:Antique Valentine 1909 01.jpg
14th February, a day dreaded by most. The day brings expectations to those in love and a hopes for a Post Valentine's Day Year with a partner for those who decide to score on 14th Feb.
Personally, I feel Valentine's Day is over hyped. To me, it's just another day. And just like an otherday, it isn't important to me, unless the Indian Cricket Team wins a match, or Sachin Tendulkar scores a century, or I fulfill one of my many dark fantasies.
#foreveralone
One of the many reasons I do not consider 14th February as an important day is because I spend it alone, without a lover to call mine. Its not like I do not have lovers. My lovers love others too. Sometimes more than me. It hurts.

So it seems Valentine's Day is pretty much an epic fail each year. Or is it?

There are many reactions to Valentine's Day as I have observed. I've had to stalk my Facebook and Twitter News Feed for the results.

Some are overjoyed with the fact that they have a Valentine. Even though the person shares the Valentine with numerous other people. These people are just overly enthusiastic about having a Valentine on 14th Feb  so that they do not break the unspoken rule of having a partner for a day on 14th Feb. These people, I feel, need a life and a better view of life. Wannabes.
Other people have a perfect, cheesy, lovely, romantic, picture perfect, lovey-dovey Valentine's Day. They do stuff like what we see in a Hollywood movie, causing many a single persons to go green with envy. These couples are the role models for the people described above, the people who need a life.

Other people just celebrate being single. Some of them take it to the extremes. They feel life isn't about being tied up because of the other person. These people, I think, have either broken up recently, or were dumped before anything could kick start. They lead disillusioned lives and end up hating V-Day. I am a hybrid between this type of person and the following person.
Other single guys and gals, live in the Valentine's Day spirit. Hoping for a better next year. Keeping a cheery face, even though the sight of watching their friends go on a mini-honeymoon makes them want to puke their hearts out. These people have an optimistic view of life. I like being optimistic. I count myself as one of them, even though I do not consider V-Day as important.
Another reason, I consider V-day as unimportant is because being a romantic creep, I believe people shouldn't wait for a particular day to express their "love", or whatever they call their affection towards the other person(s).

So a Valentine's day without a date... No big deal. I'm used to it. Imma chill wid ma bitches.. Boo Yeah.

Keeping Mum.

Not your mom.

Words and actions have a way of transmitting themselves to unwanted places. Which is why I'll just sit on my couch and let time pass. I'll hibernate. Best.

The Game of Thrones theme song is on the right path to dislodge the Dexter theme song as the best theme song ever.
The Game of Thrones theme song has dislodged the Dexter theme song. It's a revolution.

Just over 24 hours left till I graduate.

The Awkward Moment When...

Yesterday, I was awarded for spending most of Gr 12 with books. Being a "Supremo" makes me sound like a large pizza from pizza hut.
During the ceremony, shit happened.
My thoughts varied from wait, what? to WHAT THE FAAACK? to omg, what is happening?, to who? me? and finally to oh, this is gonna be fun.
The awkward moment when I stand next to the CEO of my school with his arm over me for the entire audience to laugh at.
This is what I thought the moment looked like -
image

After the ceremony, in which people apparently forgot how to clap, or had I gone deaf? Never mind, I'll find someone like you.
OKAY. So after the prize distribution ceremony, I almost had a cardiac arrest at one point of time. A nice feeling though. Beautiful is the word. Why did my heart almost stop beating? You may never know.................. (notice extra full stops and imagine a person looking out a misty window on a misty, winter's night and the screen fades)

Did I enjoy the moment when I was next to the CEO? Yes.
Would I like another "beautiful cardiac arrest" moment? Yes.
Did I like the food? No.

A Reflecting Surface.

The person in the mirror is like the two sides of a coin. The person can either convert you into the Green Goblin or be your friend in times of despair. The person inside the mirror can tell you who the fairest of them all is. The mirror can bring back childhood memories, like what happened to Kancha. Kancha ended up breaking any mirror he saw.
The person inside the mirror, or rather the mirror itself can also be the source of a really good song.

Why are we talking to each other again?

I need to be inked.

Path of Fire.

I haven't posted for a while now. I had nothing exciting happening in life. Not that anything exciting has taken place today, I just missed the New Post window.

I watched Agneepath today with my family. It had enough bloodshed to gave my mom a headache and Dexter Moran a smile on his face. The movie is a really good one. Hrithik Roshan is boss. Sanjay Dutt could have replaced Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort, all 'Kancha' needed was a wand instead of the cigar.
The movie magically jumps 15 years from one scene to the other, and a young boy playing 'Vijay, transforms into Hrithink Roshan and somehow even changes the colour of his eye from a deep black, like his mother's to a mystical green. No contact lenses, mind you, Just pure magic.
Logic tells us that a person should die if he has his back bone stabbed couple of times and then have his chest slashed with a sickle and then have a blade sticking out of his abdomen for atleast 30 seconds, but if logic had its way, Indian cinema would have missed out on jewels like this -
Overall, Agneepath is is pretty nice movie, there is energy in every scene and the movie keeps you hooked. Wouldn't be surprised if Hrithik Roshan walks away with the various awards up for grabs and if toy companies started making Kancha bobble heads.

The poem, Agneepath is a classic and it makes sense if you can understand the gibberish (Hindi)...

This is what my horoscope had to say - "Lost in despair and wallowing in self-pity, you may not have noticed that you’ve been creating immense interest in all the right places." Just saying, not drawing any conclusions because who reads the horoscope anyway. I do now. But yea, just saying.....

And -
I would like to call this, my life in words. The girl is there for viewing pleasure.

If you think otherwise,

Drilling open the Vita.

As some of you may know, I attended the PS-Vita press launch in Dubai. Yeah, I'm rolling with the big guns now. I was going to update you with the awesomeness that I came across but I was stopped from doing that by my extremely stupid practical exams. We had to dissect flowers in Biology. Do I get an 'Oooooooooh, that's so awesome'? No, I get 'LOL, get a life science dude.' Yes, it's pretty hard to feel good when you've got shit like that going on. Nonetheless, I'm posting a new post (yes, sounds grammatically incorrect, but actually isn't.)

Now, let's explore the Vita shall we?

Yup, you're absolutely right. I copied it from Wikipedia, well who doesn't?

Now, the human part of the specifications.

PS Vita comes in a glossy black guise and it feels just perfect in your hands. As you switch it on, you notice that the familiar XMB is gone. Wait what?
Yup, they've replaced it with a bunch of blobs that at first don't look quite appealing, but then as you delve into it, you notice that it's perfect for your tiny 600 cc brain.

The games, social media and everything else are neatly arranged in the whole place and yes, it includes multi-tasking due to the fact that it has 512 MB of RAM which was a missing feature in it's predecessor the PSP.

The games are crispy with occasional frame-rate drops which will be fixed when the developers come to grips  with the SDK of the Vita. The SDK refers to Software Development Kit for the un-initiated over here.

We can play Full HD videos on the Vita without a hitch, thanks to it's quad core processor. What does that mean for you? Well, for one, no FUCKING video converters needed.

Yes, now moving on, the Social Network aspect. Yes, everyone wants to update on the go, yes? Well, Sony's got you covered. It's got both Twitter and Facebook right there in-built. The Twitter app shares striking similarity to the iPad client of Twitter. I expect apps from 3rd-Party developers to come into existence soon.

There's a rear camera and a front camera. We all know that the front camera is for video calling, but what else? Well, it tracks your ugly/handsome face while playing games which require interaction like that.

Plus, an awesome tidbit for those who game online, the PSN versions of games will be cheaper. Yup.

I'll be more detailed next time, really busy. :)

Next post will a video of me, detailing the features. :)
